    Manager Textiles, Recyling & Alternative Materials Certification
    Lonneke de Kort is the global business unit manager for textile, recycling and alternative materials at Control Union Certifications. From Zwolle in the Netherlands, she leads the full accreditation scope across 23 countries, ensuring consistency, quality, and integrity on a truly international scale. Lonneke works with leading brands across continents, turning bold sustainability claims into independently verified truths. Whether it’s organic cotton, recycled fibers, or fair labor practices, she ensures that global commitments are more than marketing talk—they are certified realities.
    Fakhrul Islam Khan
    Managing Director (Bangladesh)
    Working with Control Union for over 18 years, Fakhrul has more than 23 years of experience in the field of textile merchandising, social compliance, auditing and certification. He has industry knowledge and practical expertise. Over the years, he has played a key role not just in Bangladesh but also globally. He is an active member of the Control Union Global Expert Team. Currently, he leads the Development Team within that group, driving progress in areas such as new standard development.
    Martin De Tezanos Pinto
    Country Manager – Control Union Portugal
    Martin has been with Control Union for over 6 years and is currently Country Manager in Portugal. He supports the development of the textile industry across the Iberian Peninsula and the Americas, while contributing to the advancement of certification systems, traceability solutions, and API integrations with clients.
    Callie Pople
    Business Developer for Textiles – Control Union North America
    Representing Control Union North America, Callie Pople channels her passion for sustainability into partnerships with clients, collaborating with brands and manufacturers to promote transparency and advance sustainable practices.
    Federico Bellon
    Certifications Manager – Control Union Uruguay
    Federico is an agronomist who has been with Control Union for over five years and is currently the Certifications Manager at the Uruguay office. During this time, he has contributed to farmers, farm groups, and stakeholders across the entire chain of custody in the region, working with different sustainable certification schemes with an emphasis on textiles, supporting and accompanying clients in pursuing certification as a tool to strengthen their competitiveness, open new market opportunities, and promote sustainable practices.

    Regional Business Developer for Textiles – North America
    With over 15 years of experience in textile processes, I offer a unique combination of technical expertise and strategic vision to support sustainable business growth. My role is centered on building strong, value-driven relationships between manufacturers, suppliers, and clients across the textile supply chain.
