Control Union Portugal inspects a wide variety of raw materials and products such as grains, oilseeds, vegetable oils, by-products, fertilizers and biomass, among others.
We have been doing this for the last 100 years and we have an excellent track record of acting as independent inspectors.
Quantity inspections, condition/quality determinations are all part of our services, as well as pre-shipment inspections (PSI), loading/unloading supervisions, warehouse inspections and much more.
Quality assurance is a priority for us.
To ensure the quality of our services throughout the supply chain, we have ISO 17020 accreditation and are GAFTA and FOSFA superintendent members. In addition, we participate in international affiliated organizations such as the International Federation of Inspection Agencies (IFIA).
