About the standard
The GGL is one of the first biomass certification schemes and has a solid track record in certifying, tracking and monitoring sustainable biomass. GGL certification is carried out by independent, accredited certification bodies.
GGL certification covers the entire supply chain, including production, processing, transportation and end use for bioenergy and biomass-based applications. The scope includes various types of biomass, such as forest biomass, agricultural waste, recycled wood and bioliquids.
Two market segments
GGL audits are carried out annually. Control Union Certifications (CUC) is accredited by the RvA (Dutch Accreditation Council) for the GGL standard. CUC certifies companies all over the world to the requirements of this standard. Become a benchmark. Invest in GGL certification and expand your business opportunities!
