    Certifications & Accreditations

    Our certificates are accepted by all major markets and industries. As a leading certification body, our goal is to maintain the confidence of our customers, the market and its stakeholders.

    We maintain and ensure the highest level of integrity and service excellence through our national and international accreditations awarded to our global quality management system. The basis of this quality management system are the ISO/IEC 17020:2012, ISO/IEC 17065:2012 and ISO/IEC 17021:2015 standards and their mandatory documents, but other specific accreditation documents also apply. Information on certification & accreditation status is available upon request.

    Certification Process

    Once the terms of the contract have been agreed, the process is as follows

    Registration confirmation

    Subsequently, we will send you a Registration Confirmation, which specifies how your organization, units, processes, products and applicable standards are registered in our system. When you sign the proposal and send it to us, both parties enter into a legal audit and certification contract

    Preparing for your audit

    All the relevant documents and/or links needed to prepare your audit can be found on your portal: – Normative documents of the Control Union certifications – Relevant standards; some system owners require you to obtain the standard directly from them, usually for a fee

    Payment

    To guarantee our impartial position, the accreditation rules oblige us to receive payment before the (first) audit. For invoicing purposes, we ask the applicant for the following information – VAT number – Billing address and financial contact (if different from the address given in your application)

    Portal

    You can edit your payment information on the portal. Note: Control Union Certifications will only make the (travel) arrangements and carry out the initial audit once payment of the first invoice has been received.
